Job summary

Van Storm Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Cable Routing for world-class mega yachts in the Netherlands. You will design cable tray routing, prepare layouts, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integration with ship structure and electrical systems.

You should have 3+ years in cable routing and panel planning on yacht or complex ship projects, and be proficient with AutoCAD, Cadmatic, and Teamcenter. Fluent English and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience with cable tray routing and panel planning.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Cadmatic and Teamcenter.
• Strong understanding of electrical outfitting in marine environments.
• Fluent English and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Designing and coordinating cable tray routing solutions for complex mega yacht projects.
• Preparing and maintaining cable tray layouts, panel plans and related documentation.
• Managing equipment lists and ensuring consistency between systems, components and electrical designs.
• Reviewing drawings and technical docs for compliance with class requirements and shipyard standards.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers to resolve routing conflicts.
