Job summary

Randstad Netherlands seeks a Senior Electrical Designer to create cutting-edge subsystems for high-tech medical devices. You will own the electrical domain, collaborate with international agile teams and suppliers, and deliver reliable hardware from concept to production.

You will design, verify, and test components per IEC60601-1 standards, guide external suppliers, and drive architectural improvements within a SAFe Scrum environment to maximize uptime and reliability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
• 5+ years of relevant electrical design experience in a high-tech industry.
• Proven IEC60601-1 compliance experience and electrical verification.
• Experience collaborating with external suppliers for hardware development.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Electrical Designer, you drive innovation, solve complex hardware challenges, and bring advanced healthcare devices from concept to reality. In this role, you collaborate with international agile scrum teams and external suppliers to deliver reliable, high-performance electrical components for advanced medical device platforms. You take ownership of the electrical domain, ensure strict compliance, and continuously improve complex system architectures.

• Design, integrate, verify, and test electrical components and subsystems according to IEC60601-1 standards.
• Build and maintain test setups, execute test protocols, and document traceability evidence matrices.
• Drive the electrical architecture within an agile scrum team of up to 10 multidisciplinary specialists.
• Guide external suppliers in creating high-quality detailed component designs.
• Analyze and resolve lifecycle management issues to minimize production downtime and optimize system reliability.

• You hold a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in electrical design within a high-tech industry.
• You possess proven experience working with IEC60601-1 compliance standards and electrical verification.
