Job summary

TenneT in the Netherlands is seeking a Grid Planning & Analysing Specialist to translate complex system analyses into a coherent view of future grid development. You will identify bottlenecks, define next steps, and contribute to secure, robust and affordable grid evolution.

You will develop regional and national grid visions, support TollGate 1 decisions, and collaborate with DSOs, authorities and stakeholders to align long-term capacity needs with investment plans.

Qualifications

• HBO or WO in electrical engineering required.
• Multi-year experience creating models for grid designs.
• Experience with system studies and grid analyses.
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English.
• Ability to balance interests and build consensus.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional grid visions and planning perspectives.
• Lead grid planning studies to assess future needs and constraints.
• Translate study outcomes into actionable investment plans.
• Support TollGate 1 documents with robust analyses.
• Collaborate with DSOs, authorities and stakeholders.
