Job summary

INVISTA seeks a Senior E&I Technician / Installation Owner to safely coordinate maintenance, inspections and repairs while owning electrical installation safety. You’ll combine hands-on field work with formal ownership, reporting to Maintenance Manager and training if needed.

The role blends practical execution with lifecycle oversight, including document control, permits, and safety compliance, in a dynamic plant environment.

Qualifications

• At least an MBO level 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
• At least 3 years of work experience in a comparable position.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to hold others accountable for working safely.
• Careful and structured, able to take responsibility and make well-founded decisions on safety.
• Able to work in a results-oriented way and to implement improvements.
• Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a small team of E&I technicians and contractors.
• Monitor progress and report back to the internal customer.
• Ensure accuracy of technical specifications, work descriptions and drawings.
• Prepare permits on time.
• Communicate proactively about progress, bottlenecks, budget overruns and results.
• Safeguard the condition of the electrical installations throughout their lifecycle.
• Ensure inspections, certifications and documentation are in order.
• Set the framework within which work on and near those installations may safely be performed.
