Job summary

Randstad in Diemen, Netherlands is seeking a Senior Director of Commercial Insights & Marketplace Analytics to lead a global CoE and drive AI-driven growth on Randstad's Digital Marketplace.

You will architect platform algorithms, design MLOps, and align cross-functional teams across marketing, product, and engineering to deliver measurable improvements in liquidity and client retention.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with a strong track record of managing department heads in a matrixed enterprise.
• Deep domain expertise in supply-demand balancing and marketplace liquidity.
• Hands-on background in MLOps, predictive modeling, and platform-level A/B testing.
• Proven ability to build data science functions from scratch and manage offshore/nearshore CoE.
• Master’s degree preferred; full business fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect platform algorithms: govern analytical logic and marketplace matching definitions.
• Commercial steering: define North Star metrics focusing on unit economics and conversion.
• Lead cross-functional alignment between executive leaders, marketplace teams, and product engineering.
• Resource and budget arbitration to optimize data science and engineering capacity.
