Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a Digital Validation Engineer to join a pioneering Semiconductor Scale-up focused on Digital-RF CMOS solutions. You will develop, implement, and execute test plans for SOC with Digital, Analog, and RF components.

Responsibilities include defining digital test requirements, validating digital functionalities, and executing SoC bring-up from component to system level. Proficiency in Python and lab automation is expected.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of digital circuits, memory, MCU architecture, and IoT.
• Hands-on experience with bus protocols (AHB, APB) and interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART).
• Experience with FPGA systems for pre-silicon debugging, especially Zynq.
• Firmware debugging and real-time troubleshooting with debugging tools.
• Experience with automated test setups and concurrent lab tests.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, firmware, and software teams to define digital test requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate digital functionalities.
• Perform SoC validation and bring-up from component to system level.
• Create Python scripts to automate tests and collect measurements.
• Use Python for data handling to automate processes and analysis.
• Debug hardware, firmware, and digital interfaces and implement solutions.
• Document test procedures and validation results for compliance.
