Build in Amsterdam, part of The Front Row Group, is seeking a Senior Digital Project Manager with a strong e-commerce background to lead complex digital projects. You’ll connect clients, creatives, strategists, and developers to deliver high-performing experiences from brief to launch.

You’ll own timelines and budgets, nurture client relationships, and drive continuous improvement in our processes and tools, all while working in a hybrid setup based in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of digital project management experience, ideally in an agency environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1+).
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital and e-commerce projects from brief to launch, owning scope, planning, budget, and delivery.
• Partner with creative, strategy, and development teams to turn ambitious ideas into clear, actionable plans.
• Be the main point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and keeping communication clear and proactive.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and priorities across multiple projects.
• Bring teams and stakeholders together, solve problems early, and keep projects moving.
• Track project performance and turn learnings into better ways of working.
• Help improve our processes, tools, and project management practice.

We’re Build in Amsterdam, a design and development agency, part of The Front Row Group. We create digital flagship stores for brands with global ambitions. Our work blends brand storytelling, e-commerce strategy, and high-craft design to deliver memorable user experiences. Our client portfolio includes Suitsupply, Polaroid, Roger Vivier, Secrid, Vitra, Mammut and Foam Museum - creating digital experiences for brands across fashion, design, culture and beyond.

ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a Senior Digital Project Manager with a strong background in e-commerce to lead complex digital projects and bring ambitious ideas to life. You’ll be the driving force behind projects, connecting clients, creatives, strategists, and developers to create high-performing digital experiences.

From first brief to final launch, you’ll own the process, keep projects on track, and bring clarity when things get complex. You’ll have a real voice in how projects are shaped and how we continue to improve the way we work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead digital and e-commerce projects from brief to launch, owning scope, planning, budget, and delivery.

• Strong e-commerce expertise and a good understanding of the digital commerce landscape.

• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Excellent written and spoken English (C1+).

• The confidence to manage multiple projects, senior stakeholders, and competing priorities.

• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

• A sharp eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.

• Curiosity, ownership, humility, and a genuine passion for making great work happen.

• Based in the Netherlands.
