NXP Semiconductors NV is seeking a Principal Digital Design Engineer for the SNS team to shape transceivers for in-vehicle networking. You will lead digital design, drive tape-outs, and collaborate across architecture, DV and validation to ensure delivery of high-quality automotive transceivers.

Role requires leadership in silicon design, SystemVerilog/VHDL proficiency, and expertise in Ethernet and automotive processes. Eindhoven-based, full-time with a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience as a chip lead, architect or subsystem lead of digital design teams.
• Proven tape-out track record across the chip design lifecycle.
• Experience in silicon design: synthesis, static timing, and DFT.
• Fluent in SystemVerilog or VHDL and an OO language.
• Expertise in Ethernet networking, automotive design, embedded ARM or RISC-V, and Chisel.
• Hands-on debugging and silicon bring-up.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of engineers to design, implement and support in-vehicle networking devices.
• Manage day-to-day performance of junior engineers.
• Define block requirements and architecture; optimize for area, power, timing; ensure safety and adhere to automotive processes.
• Create robust design documentation communicating intent to the team.
• Implement design in SystemVerilog or Chisel.
• Collaborate with Architecture, digital/analog, DV and validation teams for timely delivery.
