Job summary

RNF, part of HVEG Group, is seeking a Senior Designer Women Jersey & Knit to translate trends into cohesive Mexx collections. You will shape designs for production, work with international colleagues and suppliers, and contribute to multiple brands within HVEG Group.

You’ll design Jersey & Knit, create moodboards, colour directions, and prints, collaborate across teams, visit suppliers, and enjoy a hybrid schedule with development opportunities.

Job description

An emerging colour direction, a print that gives a collection its character, a design that feels unmistakably Mexx. As Senior Designer Women Jersey & Knit at RNF, you’ll have the space to turn your creative ideas into cohesive womenswear collections that connect with our customers.

You’ll work in an international fashion environment, collaborating with colleagues and suppliers to bring inspiration, design and production together. Combining your eye for trends with commercial insight, you’ll see your ideas take shape in samples, collection presentations and, ultimately, clothes women enjoy wearing.

At RNF, part of HVEG Group, you’ll use your expertise to develop collections for Mexx, with opportunities to contribute to other brands and business units. It’s a role where you can shape a recognisable collection while continuing to grow as a designer.

What will you do?

You’ll be responsible for developing our women’s Jersey & Knit collections. Working from an overarching trend concept, you’ll create designs that bring the Mexx identity to life. You’ll maintain a cohesive collection and ensure designs, samples and presentation materials are developed carefully and on time.

• Translate short- and long-term fashion trends into inspiring moodboards, colour directions and visual concepts.
• Design cohesive, commercially relevant women’s Jersey & Knit collections.
• Develop collection concepts for Mexx that support Sales and respond to customer needs.
• Create colour cards and compelling presentation materials that help Sales present the collection.
• Prepare detailed stylesheets and measurement charts to guide the development of each style.
• Design all-over prints, placed artworks and graphics, preparing them for production for both collections and specific customer requests.
• Coordinate collection sample development and follow-up, keeping all related information and administration accurate and up to date.
• Visit suppliers abroad to align on designs, samples and further development.

• A gross monthly salary between €4600 and €5000 for a 40-hour workweek, depending on your experience and qualifications.
• A contract of 32–40 hours per week.

What you bring to the role

You combine a strong creative eye with commercial insight and attention to detail. You know how to translate a brand’s identity into a collection and bring the Mexx signature to life through designs that are carefully developed for production.

• Senior-level experience in fashion design, with expertise in womenswear and a strong affinity with Jersey & Knit.
• A strong understanding of trends, colour and prints, which you translate into moodboards and cohesive, commercially relevant collections.
• Experience developing stylesheets, measurement charts, prints, artworks and graphics for production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• An accurate, organised approach to maintaining collection and sample information.
• The ability to collaborate with colleagues and suppliers and translate commercial requirements and customer needs into creative solutions.
