Job summary

Mogelijk is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to combine hands-on data work with shaping how data and AI are used across the organisation. You will develop ML models, perform analyses, and translate insights into practical business recommendations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science or a closely related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience developing and implementing machine learning models using frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, experimentation, hypothesis testing and feature engineering.
• Experience bringing ML solutions into production and an understanding of MLOps.
• Experience with Power BI or comparable BI tooling.
• Experience with modern cloud and data environments such as Snowflake, GCP or AWS.
• The ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for different stakeholders.
• A proactive, analytical and pragmatic mindset: you actively look for opportunities where data can create value.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex challenges using customer, transaction and property data; develop ML models and turn data into insights.
• Take problems from exploration to implementation: business challenge, data analysis, features, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, retraining.
• Connect data and business; translate analyses into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Help shape how Mogelijk uses data and AI, contributing to data strategy and technical practices.
• Collaborate across teams and drive data-driven decision making.
