Job summary

Metyis is seeking a Data Science Principal with +8 years of experience to join our Data and Analytics team in Amsterdam for a full-time role. You will work with senior stakeholders to translate business problems into analytical solutions and drive meaningful business impact.

You will supervise projects, guide juniors, and collaborate with data scientists across lifecycle stages, from data acquisition to visualization, utilizing SQL, BigQuery, Python, R, Tableau and PowerBI in an international

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., econometrics, AI, math, physics).
Strong ability to structure data and distinguish major contributors.
Robust knowledge of statistics and analytics tools including SQL, BigQuery, NoSQL, R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, and ML.
Proven experience managing projects and guiding junior colleagues.
8+ years of consulting or relevant industry experience, with at least 3+ years in a project lead role.
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex analytics to business users.
Professional fluency in English.
