Zusammenfassung

EPEX SPOT seeks a Lead Data Engineer to design and evolve a cloud-native Data Platform on Google Cloud. You will mentor engineers, drive data governance, and enable AI/ML capabilities across analytics and business operations.

In a collaborative Agile setting, you will partner with product, security, and platform teams to deliver scalable, trusted data products while ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and platform reliability.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience building and operating cloud-native data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud data services and data governance.

Aufgaben

• Lead design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Coach and mentor Data Engineers, conduct code/design reviews, and promote engineering excellence.
• Drive governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality initiatives across platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Data Analysts/Scientists in an Agile environment.
• Support AI/ML enablement and integration with Vertex AI and related services.
