Jobgether seeks a Director of Data Engineering, based in the Netherlands, to own the data roadmap, architecture, and company-wide data model. You will lead a small engineering team, modernize legacy pipelines, and ensure data quality, governance, and observability across enterprise systems.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in data architecture or data engineering with team leadership
• Proven experience building and scaling cloud-based data platforms (BigQuery or equivalent)
• Strong SQL and Python skills, plus dbt or similar modelling framework
• Deep data modeling experience from business concepts
• Experience establishing data quality, governance, monitoring and observability
• Experience delivering for multiple business stakeholders in sprint-based cycles
• Familiarity with ELT tools like Fivetran and data integration
• ERP experience is a plus and DTC/CPG exposure preferred
• Hands-on leadership style balancing strategy with technical execution
• Practical AI tooling experience to support engineering workflows
