Job summary

GRESB is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and scale the data foundation supporting sustainability benchmarks and related products. You will work with the data and product teams to run the annual benchmark and build new data foundations for next steps.

You will own pipelines, data models, data quality, and documentation, ensuring trustworthy data and efficient access for reporting and analytics across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building and running data pipelines in production.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with ability to interrogate data and extract insights.
• Experience operating systems in cloud environments with IaC, containers and CD.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines and services supporting evolving standards.
• Shape data models, schemas and serving layers for analytics and reporting.
• Own data quality and reliability with validation, tests and monitoring.
• Make data discoverable and documented with lineage and pipeline logic.
• Guide architecture choices and raise engineering standards through design and reviews.
