Job summary

flatexDEGIRO is building a new AI Hub and seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design the data foundation behind scalable AI tools and platforms. You will shape how enterprise data is accessed, transformed, retrieved, and used to power AI across the business.

You’ll collaborate with AI and MLOps engineers, architects, security, and IT operations to create reusable components, enforce security and governance, and deliver reliable, production-ready services in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building data foundations for AI platforms.
• Strong software engineering discipline and production-grade delivery mindset.
• Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance in enterprise data environments.

Responsibilities

• Build secure ingestion, transformation, and retrieval pipelines for enterprise data.
• Develop scalable APIs and application components for AI services and RAG solutions.
• Design data access patterns that are secure, governed, and compliant.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to support retrieval, vector search, and AI workloads.
• Create reusable data components and SDK patterns for future AI workloads.
• Ensure governed access to data sources in line with security and privacy standards.
• Integrate AI services with CI/CD, observability, and IT control processes.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, architects, security, and business stakeholders.
