Job summary

Sisk Group is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead a large-scale data centre project in Amsterdam. You will manage day-to-day site operations, lead on-site teams, and ensure safe, on-time delivery aligned with programme and commercial objectives.

The role requires extensive site leadership experience, strong safety and BIM knowledge, and a track record in complex construction delivery. Competitive salary, pension, and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have substantial site management experience on medium to large projects.
• IOSH or equivalent health and safety training is required.
• Temporary works and excavation safety training is required.
• Working at heights and scaffolding training is required.
• Lifting and cranage operations training is required.
• Additional HSEQS training as required by site HSE plan.
• Understanding of BIM strategy and new construction technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day on-site operations safely and to programme.
• Lead Site Managers, Site Agents, and Supervisors to hit project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
• Monitor progress against the programme and milestones.
• Coordinate site setup and ensure facilities are prepared before launch.
• Manage sub-contractor relationships and resolve issues impacting programme, cost, safety or quality.
• Maintain site records including Temporary Works Registers, diaries and HSEQS logs.
• Lead site meetings and communications to share priorities and safety expectations.
• Escalate risks to Senior Site Agent or Senior Operations Manager for mitigation.
• Support commercial and project management teams in site requirements and delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety, productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop Site Managers and supervisory staff.
