Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner in the Netherlands, seeks a Senior Data Architect to shape the data architecture for a major modernization initiative. You will design enterprise data solutions spanning integration, warehousing, governance, and reporting validation.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in CS, IT, Cybersecurity, Data Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in architecture risk assessments and architecture-related services.
• 2+ years with public-sector environments and related policies and practices.
• 5+ years in data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data solutions.
• 5+ years using data modeling and architecture tools such as SAP/Sybase PowerDesigner or equivalents.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience; hands-on SSIS experience.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and support enterprise data architecture for a large-scale modernization initiative.
• Consolidate reporting data marts into an integrated Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and data marts.
• Perform data profiling to understand structures, quality issues, and integration needs.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with enterprise architecture and business requirements.
• Design and support ETL processes for integrating and transforming data from multiple sources using SSIS.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical data solutions.
• Communicate architectural decisions, data models, risks, and recommendations clearly to all audiences.
