Job summary

YoungCapital NEXT is seeking a Senior Consultant at the intersection of Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Data Stewardship. You will build and scale Customer Domain Data Products across the organization, establishing data pipelines, quality standards, governance, and metadata frameworks to ensure reliable, well-documented customer data.

Ideal candidates bring experience in pipeline development with SQL, Python, and dbt, plus data stewardship capabilities.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Stewardship.
• Hands-on pipeline engineering with dbt or Python on cloud platforms (preferably GCP).
• Advanced SQL and data modeling with automated tests in dbt.
• Ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving in ambiguous environments.
• Fluent in English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain scalable ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Define and maintain data quality rules, automated tests, and dashboards.
• Maintain governance definitions, metadata, and cataloguing across datasets.
• Translate business requirements into trusted data products for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, data stewards, product owners to improve data usability.
