Qualifications

• At least 5 years practical experience in cyber security or related field, such as developing and maintaining cyber security solution architecture, delivering capabilities and services in cyber security.
• At least 1 year of experience with security accreditation of major CIS projects for a large organization.
• Knowledge of networks and proven experience deploying IP v6 networks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives.
• Experience delivering technologies for industry, government or military organizations.
• Experience with NATO and/or national military organizations desirable.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills in English.
• Nato STANAG 6001 Level 3 Professional Proficiency.
• Experience with security accreditation processes within NATO and/or national military organizations.
• Knowledge of NATO Security Policy and directives.

Responsibilities

• Provide security accreditation input to Project Proposals and other project documentation.
• Conduct Security Risk Assessment in support of security accreditation of NATO CIS.
• Identify, plan, request and develop documents for accreditation (CIS Description/Designs, Security Architecture, Security Plan, Risk Assessment, Security Requirements Statements, SOPs, and STVP).
• Witness security testing and coordinate remediation with stakeholders.
• Build and sustain communications with NATO Security Accreditation Authorities and NCIA units.
• Provide inputs to project and NCIA reports and dashboards.
• Provide subject matter briefings and presentations.

Who we are supporting

The NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and information technology (IT) services to NATO's member countries and its partners. The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.

The NCIA provides a wide range of services, including:

• Cyber Security: The NCIA provides advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect NATO's communication networks and information systems against cyber threats.
• Command and Control Systems: The NCIA develops and maintains the systems used by NATO's military commanders to plan and execute operations.
• Satellite Communications: The NCIA provides satellite communications services to enable secure and reliable communications between NATO forces.
• Electronic Warfare: The NCIA provides electronic warfare services to support NATO's mission to detect, deny, and defeat threats to its communication networks.
• Information Management: The NCIA manages NATO's information technology infrastructure, including its databases, applications, and servers.

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V. RoleDuties and Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the NCSC Accreditation Support Lead, the contractor shall:
• Provide security accreditation related input to Project Proposals (PPs), Statement ofWorkand other Project documentation;
• Conduct Security Risk Assessment in support of security accreditation of NATO CIS, in particular;
• Identify, plan, request and manage development of required documents for accreditation (CIS Description/CIS Designs and Security Architecture, Security Accreditation Plan, Security Risk Assessment Report, Security Requirement Statements, Security Operating Procedures, and Security Test and Verification Plan (STVP));
• Witness security testing (in accordance withSTVP) and coordinating remediation plan with the relevant stakeholders;
• Build and sustain effective communications with different stakeholders,including NATO Security Accreditation Authorities and NCI Agencyorganization units involved in securityaccreditation process;
• Provide relevant inputs to various Project and NCI Agencyreports; includingHighlight reports, Exception reports, PortfolioStrategic plan etc.;
• Provide subject matter related briefings and presentations;

EssentialSkills,Experienceand Certifications

• At least 5 years practical experience in cyber security or related field, such as developing andmaintainingcyber security solution architecture,developingor delivering capabilities and servicesin the area ofCyber security (especially network security), or complex and demanding technical environments; cyber security risk management
• At least 1 year of experience with:
• security accreditation of major communication and information system (CIS) acquisition and/or development projects for a large organization;
• security risk assessment methodologies and tools;
• Knowledge of networks and proven experience in deploying IP v6 networks;
• The individual shall be capable of working independently and as part of a team to achieve agreedobjectives, including the ability tomonitor, coordinate and support industry teams.
• The individual shall have a proven ability to deliver technologies, systems, solutions and capabilities for industry,governmentor military organisations, including deployment to operational militaryareas.
• Experience with implementation projects within NATO and/or national military organisations is desirable.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills in English arerequired.
• Very goodcommunication and analytical skills.
• Languageproficiencyin English: meet or exceed the NATO STANAG 6001 Level 3 "Professional Proficiency".
• Experience in working for or supporting a military or governmentalorganization.
• Experience with security accreditation process within NATOand/or national military organisations.
• Knowledge of NATO Security Policy and supporting directives.
• Education:
• A minimum requirement of aBachelor'sdegree at a nationallyrecognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 yearspost-related experience;
• Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may becompensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particularabilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCIA, that is, atleast 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in dutiesrelated to those in this Statement of Work.
