Job summary

RiverBank is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join the Structured Loans Department, focusing on SMEs and Real Estate across Europe. You will analyze and present credit cases, support deal analysis with the Credit and Sales teams, and participate in negotiations and borrower relationships.

The role requires a degree in Finance/ Economics/ Business Admin and 8–10 years of experience, with strong analytical, writing, and financial modelling skills, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• 8–10 years of experience in a similar role at a bank or private debt fund.
• Knowledge of loan products and/or bonds and Dutch law.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Excellent numerical and financial modelling skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Result-driven; adaptable to a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, prepare and present credit cases to the Credit team and to the Credit Committee.
• Support and interact with the Credit and Sales teams in the analysis of new deal opportunities.
• Take an active role and participate in negotiations and in borrower relationships.
• Review loan documentation together with the legal team.
• Draft term sheets and engagement letters.
• Anticipate any credit deterioration through active monitoring of borrowers using digital technology.
• Participate in the portfolio and borrower companies monitoring.
