Tandem Talent Ltd in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Creative Developer to help craft large-scale interactive experiences for global brands. You will work across creative coding, interactive tech and immersive environments, turning bold ideas into tangible installations.

Join a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers and technologists, shaping technical approaches and mentoring others while working on international projects.

Competenze

• Strong experience in creative coding and immersive software development.
• Experience with TouchDesigner, Notch, Unreal Engine, Unity or Pixera.
• Knowledge of OpenGL, GLSL, Vulkan or DirectX.
• Experience creating touch-based interfaces and interactive installations.
• Familiar with Git/GitHub and collaborative development practices.
• Ability to take projects from concept to production-ready delivery.

The Opportunity

We're recruiting a Senior Creative Developer to join an established international creative technology and experiential design business delivering innovative digital experiences for major brands and organisations worldwide.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of creative coding, interactive technology and immersive digital experiences, developing ambitious projects that bring together software, design and physical environments.

Forget conventional website development. We're talking large-scale interactive displays, projection mapping, motion tracking, immersive installations and digital environments that respond to how people move, touch and interact.

You'll join a multidisciplinary team of creative technologists, designers, UX specialists and developers, helping transform ambitious creative ideas into engaging real-world experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of innovative interactive applications, immersive digital experiences and bespoke installations.
• Develop visually engaging applications using creative coding frameworks and real-time technologies.
• Work with platforms such as TouchDesigner, Notch, Unreal Engine, Unity and Pixera.
• Integrate touchscreens, motion tracking, sensors and other physical input technologies into interactive applications.
• Collaborate closely with designers, UX specialists and technical teams to translate creative concepts into functional solutions.
• Rapidly prototype new ideas and develop them into robust, scalable, production-ready applications.
• Contribute to technical architecture, coding standards and development best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and support technical reviews and collaborative problem-solving.
• Occasionally travel internationally to support installations and experience completed projects first-hand.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in creative coding, interactive development, creative technology or immersive software development.
• Experience with one or more creative development platforms, including TouchDesigner, Notch, Unreal Engine, Unity or Pixera.
• Knowledge of graphics programming technologies such as OpenGL, GLSL, Vulkan or DirectX.
• Experience creating touch-based interfaces, interactive installations or sensor-driven digital experiences.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and collaborative development practices.
• Ability to take projects from initial concept and prototype through to polished, production-ready delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across creative and technical disciplines.
• A portfolio demonstrating interactive, immersive or creative development projects beyond traditional web development.

Experience with projection mapping, motion tracking, audiovisual integration or interactive hardware would be particularly advantageous.
