Job summary

Monks is seeking a Senior Creative Technologist to shape AI-powered production. You will own end-to-end AI generation pipelines, collaborating with creatives, engineers, and clients to transform content production.

This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery across Monks.Flow and enterprise projects. You will mentor junior staff, influence technology choices, and ensure production quality, scalability, and ROI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production, creative technology, or technical production environments.
• At least 2 years delivering Generative AI solutions in production environments.
• Understanding of ComfyUI or Node-based systems, including workflow optimization and customization.
• Strong knowledge of open-source AI models, focusing on Google Models (Gemini, Veo, Nano Banana).
• Python programming or vibe coding with API, cloud, vector DB, and scalable AI systems.
• Experience delivering client-facing projects for enterprise or global brands.
• Knowledge of production workflows, compute costs, ROI considerations.
• Experience designing scalable production pipelines, not just AI-generated assets.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture of AI generation pipelines, from brief to scaled delivery.
• Define technical quality standards and provide final sign-off on AI deliverables.
• Lead technical approach during client pitches, showing feasibility within timelines and budgets.
• Design scalable AI workflows that integrate into Monks.Flow and global ecosystem.
• Advise on model selection, IP considerations, and production risks.
• Drive R&D initiatives, creating proofs-of-concept for new capabilities.
• Mentor junior and mid-level technologists across the AI Production team.
• Collaborate with Creative, Production, Engineering, and Strategy to deliver AI-powered solutions.
