Job summary

Albert Heijn, part of Ahold Delhaize, seeks a Finance Manager Corporate Accounting to lead financial control, accounting and reporting for its corporate entities in the Netherlands. The role requires translating data into insights to strengthen cost control and partnering with Tax and Treasury.

You will work with the VP Corporate Accounting in a team responsible for multiple entities, focusing on IFRS compliance, process improvements and intercompany cross-charging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5–7 years in financial controlling, internal control or audit.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Proven track record leading finance projects and continuous improvement.
• Business acumen, sound judgement and constructive challenge.
• Clear communication in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial control, accounting and reporting for assigned corporate entities in line with IFRS.
• Analyse financial data and translate into actionable insights for planning, efficiency and cost control.
• Act as a trusted sparring partner for Finance, Tax, Treasury and other support functions.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation actions with timely execution.
• Lead the Purchase-to-Pay agenda and intercompany policy development.
• Drive finance projects focused on process optimization, standardization and automation.
• Support finance transformation programs and team capacity.
