Airbus is looking for a Senior Controller for its Global Technology team in Amsterdam. This role involves cost controlling and collaboration with global stakeholders to create business cases, define performance measures, and ensure compliance with financial standards. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in finance and controlling, a strong background in business administration or finance, and proficiency with MS Office tools and SAP. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and international team in a greenfield environment.
Senior Controller Global Technology page is loaded
Brenntag is investing heavily in transformation and technology and needs a senior controller to guide the process. In addition to cost controlling the role will collaborate with the global product owners and senior business stakeholders to create business cases, define value drivers and performance measurement. The controller will be the main business partner for the following teams: commercial platform, supply chain platform and data & analytics.
Focus for this role will be on the “change the business” (all strategic investments on Brenntag’s Digital Transformation Roadmap) of Digital, Data and Technology (“DDT ”) functions and will report into the Director Controlling DDT
Collaborate with senior stakeholders from various teams to ensure the optimal outcome for Brenntag Developing value cases together with the Digital, Data & Analytics team in conjunction with the Supply Chain and Commercial professionals
Helping to translate business problems/requirements into technical requirements to develop practical digital solutions
Responsible for leading the discussion with the PL Owners to create understanding and acceptance of the business cases, anchoring them in the divisional planning
Project Controlling; monitoring project budget, it’s execution and tracking of value contribution
Monthly reporting on cost development and identifying and following up on budget action items.
Controlling Interface into the delivery organization (PMO Transformation office)
Monthly reporting on project cost development and progress
Managing the invoice process and budget approvals for global projects
Ensuring capitalization of Digital and Data & Analytics related assets is in line with framework set forth by Brenntag Group Accounting (incl. required documentation)
Support the annual budget planning of Digital, Data and Technology functions
Improve controlling processes and define standards for DDT organization
Ensure compliance in DDT to processes set forth according to Brenntag Global rules of procedure and DDT internal guidelines
Qualifications:
Degree in Business administration, Finance, Controlling, IT, Business Informatics
Passion for technology related topics
Interest to work in a Global team with stakeholders across the globe
Strong business acumen
Experience with investment calculation
Good stakeholder management
Fluent in English
Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint
Experience with SAP and HFM
Good knowledge of technology & software tools
Occasional travel to the Brenntag Essen/Amsterdam office for meetings with stakeholders and other members of the controlling team
