Qabird is looking for a talented Senior Content Writer to join its humanitarian assistance team in the Netherlands. The role involves overseeing content creation, managing a team of writers, and collaborating with various departments to ensure high-quality, impactful content.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in Journalism, Communications, or Content Creation.
• Experience working for a humanitarian or charitable organization is an advantage.
• The capacity to rapidly make editorial choices during urgent circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Director of Humanitarian Infrastructure.
• Lead, supervise and develop a team of content writers.
• Oversee the content creation process and delegate roles.
• Ensure collaboration between UX designers and content writers.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Excellent storytelling abilities

Knowledge of SEO principles

Creative and ability to think outside the box

Experience in editing and proofreading

Using analytics tools

Leadership ability

Education
