Overview
Senior Consultant IT Risk & Control at PwC Nederland focuses on helping financial sector clients manage IT risks, strengthen their IT environment, and ensure compliance with information security standards and regulations.
What will you be doing?
As a Senior Consultant IT Risk & Control, you support financial sector clients in managing their IT risks, identify opportunities to improve their digital chain, and help them comply with standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, COBIT, DORA, and GDPR. You work in an inclusive, multidisciplinary team delivering sustainable client solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assessment and optimization: Analyze and improve IT processes and systems to identify and mitigate risks.
- Development of risk frameworks: Develop comprehensive IT risk frameworks in multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with changing regulations.
- Insightful reporting: Develop and present reports and dashboards that provide insights into IT risks and controls to clients and stakeholders.
- Coaching and guidance: Coach junior colleagues and share knowledge of the latest IT trends and control mechanisms.
- Client relationships and innovation: Maintain strong client relationships and encourage the development of digital solutions, including AI initiatives.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience developing and implementing IT risk management and control mechanisms.
- Understanding of risk management and controls within organizations.
- Interest in the latest technologies and ability to adapt quickly.
- WO master's degree in a field such as Information Management, Computer Science, Business Information Management, Technical Business Administration, or comparable IT/business-oriented study.
- Possibly have accreditations in IT risk management, CISA, CISM, etc.
- Experience with COBIT, GDPR, etc.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; ability to adapt to changing work environments.
- Experience and knowledge of IT laws and regulations related to the financial sector is a plus.
