Job summary

LoQit is seeking a Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer to ensure the continuity, security, and scalability of the LoQit platform from our Heerenveen office. You will collaborate with developers, product management and management to align development, operations and security, ensuring a secure, stable platform ready for future growth.

Responsibilities span Azure cloud platform design and optimization, security and compliance, SaaS and multi-tenant architecture, DevOps and operations, and enterprise

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with business-critical SaaS platforms.
• Experience with international customers and enterprise environments.
• Experience with security and compliance requirements.
• Experience with cloud architecture and platform management.

Responsibilities

• Manage, optimise and further develop the Microsoft Azure environment.
• Design and oversee the cloud architecture.
• Manage performance and capacity.
• Ensure availability, reliability and scalability.
• Set up and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Optimise costs and manage resources within Azure.
• Implement and manage security measures.
• Follow up on penetration tests, security audits and vulnerabilities.
• Support and further develop ISO 27001 processes.
• Manage security monitoring, incident response and risk management.
• Manage identity and access within Microsoft Entra ID.
• Support compliance requirements such as NIS2 and SOC 2.
• Further develop our multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
• Monitor scalability and technical quality.
• Define and maintain technical standards.
• Advise on future platform choices and architectural development.
• Manage and optimise CI/CD processes.
• Manage releases and deployment strategies.
• Manage monitoring, logging and observability.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure knowledge is retained within the organisation.
• Reduce operational risks and dependencies.
• Microsoft Entra ID and Azure AD integrations.
• Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
• API integrations with external systems.
• HR systems.
• Access control and identity platforms.
• Customer-specific enterprise integrations.
