Job summary
Belmont Lavan Ltd is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and govern cloud-based data platforms for Life Sciences, spanning multi-country datasets and regulatory-grade assets. You will perform hands-on engineering on Azure and Databricks and provide technical leadership to a multidisciplinary team.
The role requires 8+ years in data engineering with pharmaceutical experience, delivering cloud platforms on Azure/Databricks, and strong Python/SQL skills with ETL/ELT
Qualifications
- 8+ years in data engineering with Life Sciences/pharma experience.
- Delivery of cloud data platforms on Azure and Databricks; familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong Python and SQL skills with ETL/ELT orchestration (Azure Data Factory).
- Hands-on CDISC standards (SDTM/ADaM) and clinical data workflows.
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB; data governance and access control.
- Team leadership and Agile delivery (Scrum, SAFe,Kanban).
Responsibilities
- Lead design, build and governance of cloud data platforms for multi-country life-sciences datasets.
- Mentor cross-functional teams and ensure compliant, analysis-ready data assets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate clinical data needs into scalable pipelines.
