Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Client Finance, Commercial Finance, Accounting, or related role.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, revenue recognition, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills with the ability to work with and analyze large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Support the financial management of assigned clients, including revenue, costs, profitability, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and maintain monthly revenue forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities and communicating key changes to Finance leadership.
• Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including revenue recognition, accruals, deferred revenue, and related balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review project financials to ensure revenue and costs are recognized accurately and in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Partner with Account and Operations teams to monitor project budgets, scopes, staffing, utilization, and overall client profitability.
• Analyze actual financial performance against budget and forecast and provide explanations for material variances.
• Monitor client billing, accounts receivable, work-in-progress, and other financial balances to identify and resolve aged items.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of client rate cards, staffing plans, and financial models.
• Assist with client and project setup to ensure appropriate financial structures and controls are established.
• Prepare financial reporting and analysis for Finance and business leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support internal and external audit requests by preparing accurate and complete financial documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve and standardize financial processes, reporting, and controls.
• Collaborate across Finance, Account Management, Operations, Billing, Accounting, and other teams to resolve financial issues and support business decisions.
