Job summary

MCO Health BV, part of the Nestlé group, is seeking a Senior Civil Construction Manager to join the Engineering team in the Netherlands. You will drive all civil and construction activities from concept through handover, ensuring safety, budget, and compliance across state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facilities.

You will lead cross‑functional collaboration, manage external consultants and contractors, and champion Safety by Design and Hygienic Design across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil/structural engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in civil and construction project engineering in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Proven experience managing capital projects from design through construction and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, industrial construction methods, and infrastructure works.
• Experience with contractor management, supervision, and site coordination.
• Familiar with local building regulations, permitting processes, and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead all civil and construction engineering activities from concept to handover.
• Manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and construction risks.
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Safety, Procurement, Finance and Maintenance.
• Manage external engineering consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé Engineering Standards and local regulations.
• Drive Safety by Design and Hygienic Design principles throughout projects.
• Support building layouts, infrastructure design, and construction methodologies.
• Oversee construction execution, site activities, contractor performance and commissioning.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans; drive continuous improvement.
