Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Embedded C expertise for telecommunications signaling platforms. You will design, develop and optimize high-performance C software in a distributed, international environment.

Role focuses on embedded systems, signaling protocols, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust, scalable network software in a brand-new infrastructure project based in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing C in embedded or systems-level environments.
• Proven Embedded C applications experience.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications signaling networks.
• Experience with SS7, Diameter, SIP, HTTP protocols.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, Perl) for automation.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to work in an international, English-speaking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance software applications in C.
• Work on telecommunications signaling platforms and network-related software solutions.
• Develop and troubleshoot embedded and systems-level software components.
• Analyze, implement, and support signaling and network communication protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Participate in software design reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization activities.
• Develop automation and support scripts to improve operational efficiency and software deployment processes.
