Job summary

Levy Professionals is seeking a Senior C/C++ Engineer to contribute to IAM initiatives for a leading financial institution in Amsterdam. You will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, translating business needs into robust security-focused software solutions.

You will develop and maintain C/C++ applications, participate in platform migrations, and mentor colleagues while upholding secure coding standards and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development and implementation.
• Strong professional experience with C/C++ development.
• Demonstrable experience developing and maintaining C/C++ applications.
• Experience with secure coding and security-conscious software development.
• Experience with CI/CD development.
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS.
• Experience developing and integrating SOAP and REST services.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within complex enterprise or business-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and implement applications using C/C++.
• Contribute to the technical transition of existing infrastructure to a new platform.
• Refactor and improve existing software components, including the Replication Server.
• Contribute to the replacement of Adyton hardware.
• Develop and maintain secure connections between systems.
• Apply secure coding principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain SOAP and REST services.
• Work with Linux-based environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD development and automation.
• Analyse and resolve critical technical issues.
• Work within the organisation's established architecture, security and development standards.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers, stakeholders and team members in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contribute technical expertise, share knowledge and act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
• Provide and receive constructive feedback to continuously improve both solutions and team performance.
