Job summary

Shoparize, Amsterdam-based e-commerce tech company, seeks a Senior Business Controller to own the monthly close, financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting. You will align BI data with financials, work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales and Operations, and be the primary finance counterpart to the BI Specialist.

You will drive intercompany consolidation, multi-currency reporting and statutory processes in a growing, multi-market environment. Fluent English is essential, Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance or related field.
• 5 to 8 years in business controlling, FP&A or financial reporting.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Experience with BI tools and data environments.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close end to end: completeness, accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile data between operational, transactional and financial statements.
• Maintain audit trails and intercompany eliminations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning processes.
• Direct the BI data structures and reporting outputs for leadership.
