CO-PILOT WITH THE BUSINESS ON PERFORMANCE AND VALUE CREATION,
FOCUSING ON THE FUTURE

Group Finance & Control is a head office based Finance team. The controlling team works very close to the business, which is divided in Regions, Groups and Business Develop Units (DBU’s). As a Business Controller you are mainly responsible for the optimisation of business insights and (financial) performance. Due to the new organization structure and further growth and optimalisation of the company, BDR Thermea is looking to expand with a Senior Business Controller.

CONDITIONS

• Fixed salary approximately € 125k per annum (incl. holiday allowance and 13thmonth)

POSITION

• Position is thé financial business partner for the Business Develop Unit (BDU) Heat Pumps and Air Conditions and therefor one of the key positions that have a substantial influence in the BDU performance
• Head office and MT position in which you work closely together with BDU/Group Directors, local senior management and financials as well as with the Group Finance & Control team
• Analyse, prepare and assess business plans, management reports, improvements and investment proposals
• Responsible for developing and implementing (new) business strategies, concepts and methods for the BDU, based on the corporate vision and objectives
• Provide valuable insights into business performance and external drivers to drive decision-making and acts when required as a countervailing power
• Challenge the business on both commercial and costs and looks out for the financial health of the DBU
• Prepare management reports and analysis for the Management Board and other stakeholders
• Participate in performance improvement projects as well as other key group projects

PROFILE

• Master degree in Finance, (Business) Economics or Accounting, preferably combined with a post-master RA/RC/CMA/CPA or MBA
• At least twelve to fifteen years of experience, gained in a large and/or complex, manufacturing/industrial company, preferably with an international scope
• Proven track record within a business control role in an international organisation at head office level, but preferably also as an operating entity controller
• Knowledge of and/or experience with supply chain and operational processes
• Excellent analytical skills and strong conceptual thinking skills
• Senior presentation and solid discussion partner for all business levels within the organisation
• Flexible, able to meet ambitious deadlines and willing to travel internationally (approximately 25%)
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English and cultural awareness
