Levy Professionals in the Netherlands is seeking a hands-on Business Developer with strong data analysis to join its Finance & Risk Data Domain Store. You will work on the platform behind the BCBS 239 credit risk data programme, running monthly production, investigating data issues in SQL, and migrating entities.

The role is in an international, English-speaking team using Databricks and Azure, with two office days a week in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on SQL experience and ability to investigate data issues in production.
• Experience on a data platform in an operational/run role.
• Background in financial risk data, preferably credit risk (e.g. AnaCredit, IFRS 9).
• Knowledge of BCBS 239 and data quality controls.

Responsabilités

Business Analyst / Data Analyst | BCBS 239 Credit Risk Data Platform | Major Dutch Bank

A major Dutch bank is looking for a hands-on Business Developer with strong data analysis skills to join its Finance & Risk Data Domain Store. This is the platform behind the bank’s BCBS 239 credit risk data programme. You will join the team that runs and stabilises the platform: monthly production runs, investigating data issues in SQL, and connecting newly acquired entities and migrating platforms. Use cases include AnaCredit and real estate loan tapes, with IFRS 9 coming next.

About the role

You will join a 30-person team of business developers and IT engineers, working in the sub-team focused on production runs and platform stability. This is an ops-driven role for someone who picks up issues right away and solves them independently, in a growing scope that will expand to market and liquidity risk. The team works in an international, English-speaking environment on Databricks and Azure, with two office days a week in Amsterdam. The assignment runs until the end of March 2027, and both payroll and freelance are possible.

You will:

• Run the monthly production process: load and validate data, spot anomalies, deliver evidence for data quality controls and inform stakeholders when data is ready
• Investigate production and data quality issues directly in SQL and trace whether they come from source data or recent releases
• Lead the business and IT alignment and testing when connecting new entities and migrating platforms
• Propose and implement practical improvements to automate and stabilise the platform

About you

• Strong hands-on SQL experience, used to investigate and resolve data issues
• Experience working on a data platform in an operational or run role
• Background in financial risk data, preferably credit risk (e.g. AnaCredit, loan tapes, IFRS 9)
• Knowledge of BCBS 239 and data quality controls
• Ideally experience with Databricks, Azure, Python or Power BI
• Ideally experience onboarding new entities or migrating data platforms in a banking environment
