QGROUP is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to design and drive data solutions for internal and external financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or similar role.
• Strong data modeling experience with Data Vault and dimensional models.
• Ability to write SQL independently and work with financial reporting in complex environments.
• Background in financial reporting within large enterprises.
• Fluency in English; Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather high-level requirements and design solutions for finance and internal reporting.
• Maintain an end-to-end overview of the Data Foundation landscape.
• Facilitate and manage senior stakeholders across area and tribe levels.
• Produce deliverables that support executive decision-making.

• Experience in ETL processes.
• Ensure data warehouse stability and contribute to BCBS 239 compliance.

Senior Business Analyst | 36-40 hours | Hybrid

For a leading financial institution in the Netherlands, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst.

In this role, you will design and drive data solutions for internal and external financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the scaling of an enterprise data platform.

Do you have 5+ years of experience in business analysis, practical data modeling expertise such as Data Vault and dimensional models, the ability to write SQL independently, and a solid background in financial reporting within complex enterprise environments?

The Role:

The Data Foundation tribe is building the central Group Risk & Finance Data Platform. You will work within multidisciplinary scrum teams as part of a large multi-year data platform program, translating complex regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements into clear specifications, data models, and data warehouse designs.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering and documenting high-level requirements and designing solutions for finance and internal reporting
• Maintaining an end-to-end overview of the Data Foundation tribe landscape
• Facilitating and managing senior stakeholders across area and tribe levels
• Producing deliverables that support executive decision-making
• Translating solutions into business requirements, data models such as Data Vault and dimensional, and data warehouse designs
• Experience in ETL processes
• Ensuring data warehouse stability and contributing to BCBS 239 compliance

Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's level of thinking and working in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, business consultant, product owner, or solution architect
• Strong practical experience with data modeling such as Data Vault and SQL
• Background in financial reporting and large, complex corporate environments
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)

Nice to have:

• Domain knowledge in banking or risk & finance
• Solid understanding of BI, data warehousing, and executive-level PowerPoint reporting

Conditions & Benefits:

• 36 to 40 hours per week via a secondment contract at QGROUP
• Gross monthly salary up to €6,000 depending on experience
