Job summary

At Sytac, we build high-performing data and engineering teams for leading international organisations. We’re looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to bridge business needs and IT, developing, maintaining and optimising reports, data flows and BI solutions across Europe.

You’ll integrate systems such as SAP HANA and SAP SuccessFactors, work with stakeholders in Spain and other EU countries, and drive improvements to data architecture while keeping dashboards and data pipelines

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Data Analyst/BI Developer in international settings.
• Strong Power BI and Grafana expertise.
• Skilled in SQL Server, Python, data lakes/warehouses.
• Experience with SAP HANA and SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
• Able to translate business needs into BI solutions.

Job description

For our client, an international player in the maritime and logistics sector, we’re looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer. In this role, you’re the crucial link between business and IT. You’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimising reports, data flows and BI solutions. You’ll also play a key role in integrating systems such as SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HANA across a European network, including working with teams in Spain.

What you’ll do

• BI & Dashboards: Develop, maintain and manage advanced reports and dashboards in Power BI and Grafana for various European business units.
• Data Pipelines & Integration: Extract, model and analyse data from data lakes and data warehouses, and build reliable data flows and interfaces between business systems.
• SAP System Integrations: Support the further implementation, data access and integration of SAP HANA and SAP SuccessFactors.
• Stakeholder Management: Work with international stakeholders to identify information needs and translate them into concrete management and operational reports.
• Advice & Optimisation: Advise on continuous improvements to the data and reporting architecture, in coordination with international colleagues and teams in Spain.

Who we’re looking for

• Experience: Proven experience as a Data Analyst, BI Developer, Data Engineer or similar role in an international context.
• BI & Data Visualisation: Extensive, in-depth knowledge of Power BI and experience with Grafana.
• Data & Engineering Stack: Strong skills in SQL Server, Python, data lakes, data warehouses and version control (e.g. GitHub).
• Integration Knowledge: Experience with data integrations, APIs, interfaces and connecting a wide range of source systems.
• Personality: Analytical, proactive and independent. You communicate well enough to move easily between business needs and technical solutions.
• Languages: Dutch and excellent written and spoken English is required, as you’ll work closely with international colleagues, including the team in Spain.
• Based in the EU (no visa sponsorship available).

Bonus points

• Knowledge of Power Apps and experience with Windows Server.
• Experience with SAP HANA and SAP SuccessFactors.
• Knowledge of or experience in the maritime or logistics sector.
