All About Expats is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join a scale-up in Eindhoven, Netherlands. You will develop and maintain backend services using TypeScript and REST APIs, collaborating with frontend, UX, and data science teams.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, cloud architecture, and clean code within a fast-paced energy-management tech environment. You should have 6+ years of backend experience, strong TypeScript skills, and be willing to relocate to Eindhoven.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of backend development with strong TypeScript skills.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams of at least 8 developers.
• Experience with Gitlab CI/CD, Kubernetes, and open-source technologies.
• Expertise in test automation and Clean Code principles.
• Willingness to live in or relocate to the Eindhoven area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using TypeScript and REST APIs.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, UX, and data science teams.
• Optimize and scale cloud-based infrastructure.
• Lead initiatives in test automation, clean code, and best practices.
