Job summary

Enstall is accelerating solar installations by shaping the energy transition. We are building a new Azure environment from scratch as part of an ambitious IT roadmap, with a focus on architecture, security, governance, automation and manageability.

The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will design, implement and govern the Azure platform, mentoring colleagues and collaborating with an IT Manager to deliver world-class cloud infrastructure for a global audience.

Qualifications

Proven experience in designing, building or significantly developing Azure environments.
Extensive, demonstrable work experience within a medium-sized or large IT environment, preferably international.
Solid experience with Azure Landing Zones, governance and cloud security.
In-depth experience with Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage and platform services.
Strong knowledge of PowerShell and automation of management processes.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Terraform).
Experience with CI/CD tools is an advantage.
Thorough knowledge of monitoring, backup, disaster recovery and cloud cost management.
Knowledge of Entra ID, identity governance and access management.
Experience with cloud migrations and onboarding workloads.

Responsibilities

Analysing current Azure environment, requirements, risks and future needs; provide critical input.
Designing and proposing the new global Azure architecture and landing zone.
Translate architectural principles into concrete technical designs and implementation plans.
Build, configure and implement the new Azure environment.
Set up governance, including policies, RBAC and compliance guidelines.
Design and implement Azure networking, VMs, storage and platform services.
Automate infrastructure and deployments using PowerShell, IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
Develop reusable templates, scripts, and deployment methods for the team.
Onboard workloads and applications across international locations.
Migrate from the existing Azure environment and other infrastructures.
Test and validate solutions for performance, availability, security.
Maintain technical designs, runbooks and management procedures.
Handover solutions to operations and mentor junior colleagues.
Research and implement new Azure features and improvements.
Lead global changes and IT projects.
