European Agency seeks a Senior Application Engineer/Administrator Consultant – remote. You will manage applications, maintain and monitor systems, and contribute to knowledge bases while ensuring high service quality and performance.

You’ll participate in on-call support every six weeks, with potential 42 days engagement, and respond within one hour for remote interventions. Strong English, ITIL, and cloud/container skills are essential.

Formación

• English language working proficiency at B2 or higher.
• 6+ years in IT infra, with deployment, support and maintenance.
• 5+ years in application administration.
• Experience with Elasticsearch administration and clusters.
• Container tech: Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.
• Knowledge of Puppet/Ansible/Chocolatey for config management.
• Scripting in Shell and/or PowerShell.
• ITIL knowledge covering incident, change and release.

Responsabilidades

• Application management: installation, configuration, and admin in prod and non-prod.
• Support & maintenance: incident, change, release, and problem resolution.
• Monitoring and improvement: monitoring, performance tuning, and QOS uplift.
• Documentation: write and validate procedures, troubleshooting guides, backups.
• Automation: automate recurring admin tasks and provide docs.
• Knowledge management: contribute to ICT Operations knowledgebase.
• Reporting: report on availability, performance, capacity and usage.
• On-call services: six-weekly full calendar weeks, 0–4 interventions per week.
