Job summary

Almaviva Group seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure professional to install, configure and administer enterprise applications in production and non-production environments at Near Site (The Hague, Netherlands). The role focuses on monitoring, performance tuning and continuous improvement of service efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of IT experience.
• At least 6 years in mid/large IT infrastructure environments, including deployment, support and maintenance of applications.
• At least 5 years in application administration.
• At least 2 years with micro-services and container orchestration (Docker or Kubernetes).
• At least 2 years administering and supporting Elasticsearch.
• At least 5 years with enterprise Microsoft or Linux server solutions.
• At least 2 years with Public or Hybrid Cloud services (Azure or AWS).
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch deployment and administration.
• Knowledge of micro-services with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker and Rancher.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chocolatey).
• Knowledge of shell and/or PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, change, release).
• Expert level

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration and administration of applications in production and non-production environments.
• Monitor applications, tune performance and improve service quality.
• Provide application support and maintenance including incident, change, release and problem resolution.
• Write and validate procedures manuals, troubleshooting guides, backups and restore plans.
• Automate recurring admin tasks and provide installation documentation.
• Contribute to ICT Operations knowledgebase.
• Report on application availability, performance, capacity and usage.
