A2G Consulting BV (A2G Technologies) is seeking a medior/senior Android developer to focus on communication features and maintain a stable, secure app. You will collaborate with Android, iOS, back-end teams, UX, and Product Manager to deliver high-quality software.

The role involves refining stories, writing unit and UI tests, solving production incidents, and aligning with a broad network of stakeholders. 3+ years Android experience, Kotlin/Java knowledge, and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• You have at least 3 years of experience developing Android apps.
• You're familiar with our tech stack (see below).
• You are a strong developer who is intrinsically motivated and passionate about delivering high quality software.
• You are proactive and have experience working closely with the business, understanding their needs and translating them into effective technical solutions.
• You enjoy building screens and thinking about end-user experience, but also know the importance of maintaining the foundations.
• You keep yourself up to date with the latest developments around Compose and the Android ecosystem.
• You have a sharp mind and pragmatic attitude. You value keeping things simple.
• You take initiative and understand which decisions you can make yourself and when you need to consult with another developer or software architect.
• You're a strong communicator, and you can easily get things done and involve your colleagues in what you want to achieve.
• You can express yourself in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with Java/Jakarta EE is considered a strong plus.
• Experience with back-end development and collaborating across front-end and back-end domains is highly valued.
