Job summary

Adyen is looking for an experienced Senior Android Engineer to advance our enterprise-grade Android SDKs and mobile payments platform. You will focus on Kotlin development, collaborate across teams, and help shape secure, scalable solutions for global clients.

You will contribute to architecture, review code, and explore new technologies like Jetpack Compose to enhance performance and reliability in our SDKs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Kotlin development experience.
• 8+ years building software for Android.
• Experience developing enterprise-level SDKs.
• Expert knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Gradle, Dependency Injection.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests.
• Strong accountability, problem-solving and collaboration.
• Ability to mentor engineers through code reviews and design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-grade Android SDKs and features in Kotlin.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams on new payments features.
• Lead code reviews and investigate new technologies to improve the SDK.
