Job summary

Cboost in the Netherlands is seeking an Experienced AI Vision Engineer to join our team. You will design, develop and deploy vision AI solutions for industrial applications, reporting to the R&D team and collaborating with hardware and software engineers.

You will lead projects, mentor colleagues, and translate customer requirements into scalable, robust vision systems while staying up to date with the latest AI techniques.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, VisionAI or a related field, with a proven track record deploying vision-based solutions in industrial environments
• Ability to lead projects and solve complex engineering challenges within budget and on time
• Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in multidisciplinary project environments
• Fluent in Dutch

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and optimize machine vision and vision AI solutions for industrial applications.
• Develop, train, fine-tune and validate state-of-the-art deep learning models.
• Select and integrate cameras, optics, lighting systems and other imaging hardware.
• Deploy solutions on edge devices and customer infrastructures.
• Independently lead projects and act as a technical expert on solution architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across teams.
• Support project estimations, proposals and solution concepts.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and drive innovation.
