Job summary

Nebius, Amsterdam-based leading cloud infrastructure company, seeks a senior IC to own search infrastructure as a product within Tavily. You will shape quality, coverage, freshness, and cost tradeoffs for our index at scale.

You will work with engineering, research, and customer success to define what good means for each use case, and defend decisions with data and real customer feedback.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, including high-scale search or ranking systems.
• Background as an engineer, ML engineer, or researcher on production systems in related areas.
• Direct experience shipping a search or ranking change end-to-end.
• Strong data foundation: design experiments and interpret eval results.
• Product judgment to match technical depth and defend it to engineers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Set the quality bar and release criteria for search, and define what good means per use case.
• Own depth, latency, and cost tradeoffs across search products and make them explicit.
• Shape the direction of the index and what it needs to cover and how fresh it should be.
• Build a roadmap for search infrastructure as agents become the main consumer.
• Understand competitive alternatives and close gaps that matter for customers.
• Collaborate with customer success to understand real workflows and translate into priorities.
• Partner with data and vertical product owners on corpus content and result shaping per industry.
