Job summary

Nebius in Amsterdam is building an agent-native search platform for AI systems. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to work on the web access infrastructure for a novel search engine.

You will ensure reliable access to public web content across the full request lifecycle and implement fixes that keep crawling, indexing and retrieval fast at internet scale. You will diagnose issues across network, TLS, HTTP/2, and client-side scripts, and build browser-aware clients and tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade systems.
• Strong programming in Go, Python, Rust or C++.
• Experience with browser networking and real-world web traffic.
• Experience using debugging replay of captured traffic and browser automation.
• Knowledge of HTTP/2/3, TLS handshakes, and network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failed or degraded requests at the right layer: network, TLS, HTTP/2, headers, and session state.
• Analyze how websites verify and classify clients and serve content to different clients.
• Build clients and tooling that behave consistently with standard browsers across layers.
• Monitor access quality as websites change; detect regressions and measure success on real content.
• Build tooling to capture traffic and compare against real browsers; track per-site and per-method success and cost.
