Job summary

ML6 in Amsterdam is seeking a Tech Lead to design, build, and deploy impactful AI solutions. You will work directly with clients on real-world applications and lead teams to ensure successful production deployment of AI systems. Candidates should have over 4 years of experience in software or AI engineering, a strong understanding of cloud platforms, and leadership skills. ML6 offers a competitive salary package ranging from €80k to €100k gross per year, including stock options and benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of working experience as a software, ML or AI engineer.
• Proven track record in delivering end-to-end solutions to production.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience leading projects or small technical teams.
• Strong communication skills (technical and non-technical) in English and Dutch.
• Familiarity with MLOps principles.

• Design and build end‑to‑end AI solutions
• Take systems from idea to production deployment
• Make architecture decisions and ensure scalability

• Work with Python, ML frameworks, GenAI, and cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Build scalable systems using MLOps and CI/CD
• Lend your technical expertise to client conversations to succesful start new opportunities

Time allocation: 70% client project work + 30% research, internal (domain) work and more. Note that ML6 is not an outsourcing firm, our agents work on projects together with a team of colleagues where autonomy is highly valued.

What You Bring

• 4+ years* of working experience as a software, ML or AI engineer
• Proven track record in delivering end‑to‑end solutions (to production)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience leading projects or small technical teams
• Strong communication skills (technical and non‑technical) in English and Dutch
• Familiarity with MLOps principles and a passion for building robust, scalable systems
• Currently based in Europe, since relocation outside of Europe is not possible for this role today
