Job summary

PwC Nederland’s CMAA team in Amsterdam seeks a Senior Consultant to advise on complex accounting and reporting during moments of change such as IPOs, M&A, or GAAP conversions. You will work with a diverse team supporting non-audit clients and internal audit professionals.

You will lead and coach colleagues, deliver high-quality technical accounting work, and develop client relationships while staying current with IFRS, Dutch GAAP, and US GAAP requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with IFRS, Dutch GAAP and/or US GAAP in financial reporting.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively execute technical accounting and capital markets work for clients at high quality.
• Support and lead consultants; report to Managers and Senior Managers; receive coaching on the job.
• Develop client meetings, prepare complex written materials and oral advice.
• Identify issues and communicate status to the engagement leader.
• Research and communicate impact of accounting standards on complex deals and transactions.
