Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Process Engineer 3 in Enschede, NL. You will operate on cutting-edge semiconductor processes, defining hardware, evaluating data, and coordinating design requirements to meet processing needs.

You will contribute to Prestis PLD product line, develop new processes, and support customer implementations with a collaborative, matrixed team. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics or related field with 3+ years of experience; or a PhD with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.
• Preferred qualifications include lab work with semiconductor equipment, surface preparation and analytical techniques.
• Strong proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar computing language.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process engineering research, development, and evaluation for Lam’s semiconductor equipment.
• Review and enhance processing techniques in manufacturing and fabrication.
• Develop and sustain new processes to reduce production costs and increase yields.
• Analyze test data to define next steps and process specifications.
• Collaborate with teams to plan and report customer demos for existing processes.
• Contribute to next generation product development and roadmap alignment.
• Provide leadership to process technicians to support execution.
