Job summary

KWS Vegetables is seeking a Research Specialist Seed Technology in Andijk, NL. You will bridge research with operations, developing and improving seed technologies, from priming to treatments, and translating results into workable protocols for global operations.

You’ll be part of an international, hands-on team focused on tangible improvements, with close collaboration across Seed Technology, Quality Testing, and crop teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• MSc degree, preferably in Seed Technology or a related field.
• Experience with projects and comfortable working in an international environment.
• Strong with data and affinity for technology and tools.

Responsibilities

• You move between research, data, and operations. You don’t just look at what’s possible, but especially at what works.
• Develops and optimizes technologies such as priming, sorting, treatments, and biologicals
• Introduces and implements new methods for quality control
• Translates research outcomes into concrete protocols for Operations
• Sets up (international) field trials to test new technologies
• Continuously improves seed disinfection in line with quality standards and regulations
• Ensures data is reliably collected, managed, and used for decision-making
• Collaborates with crop teams and other stakeholders to improve processes and performance
